Pets First, Ourselves Second? Treat yourself as well as you treat your pet

Do you have a dog? A cat? Or even a fish?

How much time have you spent looking into what's the best food for them? We want to make sure we give the best to our animals.

If we don’t give the best to our pets we understand the consequences.

Feeding our beloved pets the wrong foods will shorten their lifespans, increase obesity risk and can lead to a host of health problems in the future.

Why would we want to give them food that would make them sick and could cost us in future vet bills?

Many people put more thought into their dogs' dinner than they do into their own. We will buy the best for our furry friend and stop at a drive through on the way home to feed ourselves.

What if we actually cared about our bodies like we cared about our pets? What if we looked at the ingredients of the food we ate? What if we didn’t overeat because we understand the risks of obesity? What if we didn’t choose taste over health?

Why do we care about our pets? It’s because they rely on us. They are 100% our responsibility. If a pet in ourcare becomes obese then we have only ourselves to blame.

Then who do we blame when it happens to us? We don’t take responsibility for our own health and choices.

Before we dig into our next piece of cake or extra-large serving of chips, ask yourself; “Would I feed this to mydog.?’
